It is amazing who the Lord sends our way. Someone wrote us an email and said they would be in Haiti and would like contact numbers for David. I emailed back and gave them all the info not really knowing who they were. It turns out that they couldn't find a hotel room....called David and he invited them to come out to our property. These were men from mission organization in FL that works with all kinds of water systems. One man is drilling wells in Guatemala and has gone all over the world teaching men how to run different types of well drilling rigs. It is always good to meet people who are working in the same areas as you and to be able to "pick their brains too."
Dave and Eileen Brenize arrived on Wed. They ministered with us on the GO compound from 1998 to 2004. It is great to have them in Haiti for a visit.
Lots of temporary housing is being erected in TiTanyen by Samaritan's Purse. The TiTanyen Baptsit Church furnished the land for these homes. They put up around 35 homes this past week. The structures are made of treated wood with a tine roof and the outside is wrapped with tarp material.
The doctor said my Mom is taking two steps forward and one back. Still haven't resolved the blood problem. The had to give her two more units of blood yesterday. I had to depend on other family yesterday and today for her care. I've had a 48 hr bug. Hopefully I can go back to sitting with her tomorrow.
