Busy days. David traveled from PAP to Tupelo on Monday. He was in GO Leadership meetings all week and then a GO Executive Board meeting on Friday. Friday afternoon late he rented a car and drove 6 hours to KY. It was a very small car with no cruise control and he was exhausted when he arrived. (Dr. Hurley had planned for a private plane to fly him from Tupelo to Owensboro but bad weather problems cancelled this.) He had 48 hours to see me and visit with my Mom. Those hours went by too fast. This morning at 5:30am Larry Heady drove him to Nashville in order to fly back into Haiti. David said he didn't know how tired he was until he arrived here. Pray for his strength as he goes back into Haiti.
My mom is holding her own. She had been moved to the Transitional Care Unit. She will probable be there about 3 weeks. Pray for her as she goes through rehab. The doctor told me on Friday that we had "dodged a lot of bullets"....her progress is slow but he could see some.
