January 15, 2010

What a day we had yesterday! Lots and lots of phone calls. Praise the Lord for the number of people that want to be involved in helping the Haitian people in their hour of need. This is long term. There are no quick fixes. We are still trying to get a surgical team from NC into Haiti. Right now they are stuck in Dominican Republic. We have another plane with 3 drs and 3 medical staff ready to go when we get permission to land in Haiti. We appreciate all that have given money and supplies. We know there will be need for much more.

  1. A friend of mine posted the comment below on FaceBook. Her dad, Bill Hauser, is currently in Haiti as well. Her mother received a call today looking for info on someone they've been unable to contact... a preacher by the name of Gary St. Hubert. I know it is a long shot, but if you have any info about them please let me know and I'll put you in touch with Jenny or her mother.

Jenny Samuels - Please if anyone knows anything about this would you please help. I recieved a phone call from a stranger today named David Vahle. He asked me if I could help and find out anything about his wife's sister. My husband Bill is in Haiti at Christianville so this man thought maybe I could help. I don't know how we could help... but maybe you could. The people they are looking for live in Puisblen. Their names are Gary and Loubienne St. Hubert. They go to the Iglese sur le Rocher (Church on the Rock) in Puisblen. Gary St. Hubert is one of the minister at the church. The address to the church is Delmass 33 street. Please if you could help this family they would greatly appreciate it.
